Sinkhole Investigation

 
Madrid Engineering has completed hundreds of sinkhole investigations in Florida over its 13 years of business.  Our staff combined has dozens of years of sinkhole experience.  We run hand auger tests and with our drill rigs we have the capability of doing SPT testing.  We also perform our own laboratory testing. 

Madrid turns around most sinkhole investigations in under a month.  Our clients include several insurance companies as well as individuals.

After receiving the request from the client, we send out the Project Manager to take photographs and to inspect the site.  The next step is soil sampling, usually hand augers and drilling.  After the soils have been tested in the laboratory, all the information is presented to both a Professional Engineer and a Professional Geologist.  They analyze the information and draw conclusions using their experience and knowledge, compile a report, and return their findings to the client.
