District Wide Asphalt Plant Inspection Services

MEG provides asphalt plant inspection services as a DBE subconsultant to Allied Engineering. MEG inspectors worked in multiple plants throughout District 7 performing both day and night-shift inspection and also weekends as needed. MEG inspectors were responsible for daily testing reports, inspection of trucks and facilities, and transmittal of inspection reports and test data through LIMS.

MEG APPROACH: MEG provided verification asphalt testing and inspection services on this contract. Specific work included laboratory testing of hot mix asphalt, and the reporting of results through LIMS.

MEG BENEFIT: MEG provided VT laboratory testing support that ultimately allowed the Prime Consultant and the Contractor to meet the quality requirements for their specific projects.
