CEI Senior Roadway / Bridge Inspector

Must have 4 years of experience 2 of which is in Roadway or Bridge construction.

CEI Asphalt Plant Inspector

Must have 1 year of experience in Asphalt Plant Inspection

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CTQP Asphalt Plant Inspection Level I
  • CTQP Asphalt Plant Inspection Level II
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I

 


 

EXPERIENCED SENIOR DRILLER

Perform soil test borings with mud-rotary and auger drilling equipment, rock coring with varied sizes and methods, prepare accurate logs and collect soil samples for laboratory analysis and subsequent engineering evaluations. Class B CDL needed. An understanding of roadway stationing and USCS classification system is desirable and ability to follow specific instructions is required. Knowledge of sampling at 2.5-foot centers is also needed. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions; the work is generally physically demanding. Travel to project sites as needed. Nearly all work is in Florida; overnight stays will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate rotary and auger drill equipment
  • Drilling and coring for soil and rock samples
  • Maintain drill rig equipment
  • Supervise other crew staff at the drill site
  • Keep accurate and detailed records
  • Prepare field boring logs and collect soil samples
  • Field classification of soils
  • Measure/locate test boring locations
  • Operate equipment such as rotary drill and auger drill
  • Safety awareness of equipment and personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Geotechnical drilling and rock coring experience
  • CDL license
  • Mechanical skills
  • Excellent driving record within company standards
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering site plans
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Knowledge of soil classification desired
