Our History in Environmental Engineering

For several years following its inception in 1992, MEG supported the environmental industry by installing monitor wells and completing water quality sampling in accordance with FDEP regulations. MEG was a valued sub-consultant for the FDOT’s District One district wide environmental consulting contract. MEG demonstrated its innovative capabilities by completing ground-breaking research in the application of chemical stabilization techniques to very soft waste phosphatic clays. We also worked with others to patent the Phos-Filter™, a revolutionary method to reduce phosphorus in surface waters and stormwater runoff. By the year 2000, MEG began completing design-build projects such as the McGrath Rentcorp Porous Pavement Analysis in Mulberry, Florida. Since 2002, MEG has been heavily involved in forensic subsidence investigations.
