Madrid Engineering is pleased to announce that it has been re-certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) with the central and north Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (cnFMSDC). The cnFMSDC is affiliated with the National Minority Supplier Development Council, which is one of the leading business membership organizations dedicated to increase procurement and business networking opportunities for historically minority businesses throughout the United States. The mission of the cnFMSDC is to provide direct links between corporate America and MBE’s, and operates trade fairs, monthly meeting opportunites, and B2B forums. They also provide numerous educational opportunities, including scholarships for MBE owners to attend a week-long class at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. Larry Madrid, PE, D.GE, F.ASCE, president of Madrid Engineering Group, Inc. is this years’ scholarship winner and will be attending classes in November. The scholarship is exclusively funded through a partnership with Florida Blue.
